A Wandering Spider gulping down a caterpillar like a piece of spaghetti…
This is the most venomous spider in the Americas, and has been responsible for a handful of human deaths. However, bites are rare and typically relatively harmless as long as medical attention is sought quickly. Wandering Spiders are reluctant to bite unless provoked, and will raise their front legs to show off their bright yellow and orange colours when threatened – a warning which is very wise to pay attention to!
