The devil’s in the detail…

Say hello to the Inotawa Tree Frog, resident of the lowland Amazonian jungles of Peru. The specific name of this frog, kamagarini, is derived from the local Indigenous Machiguenga word for demon or devil, on account of the horn-like structures above the eyes.
