Time for another edition of Moths Can Be Pretty Too.

This spectacular creature is a Geometrid Moth, photographed in the cloud forests of Monteverde in Costa Rica.

While most people think of butterflies as the most beautiful flying insects, species such as this demonstrate that their nocturnal counterparts can be just as mesmerising 👀

So go outside at night and look for stuff. It’s fun, and you might just spot a pretty moth.
