After a few weeks spent exploring Borneo’s untouched natural environments, the menacing metropolis of Kuala Lumpur was a shock to the system.
Malaysians seem to have a thing for synchronised water fountain displays. And as far as synchronised water fountain displays go, this one was fairly impressive.
Each night, thousands flock to the foot of these imposing towers to shop, get a bite to eat, or just relax and take in the show.
If you don’t mind being harassed by the many hawkers trying to convince you to buy a wide-angle lens for your smartphone (so you can get the perfect selfie of you in front of the towers), then it’s worth the visit. Personally, I’ll take Malaysia’s pristine rainforests over their concrete jungles any day.
