One of the craziest creatures in the Bornean rainforest is the Wallace’s Flying Frog. And, as the name suggests – these frogs can fly.
Or, more accurately, they can glide. Having evolved membrane between their toes, and loose flaps of skin on their sides, these phenomenal frogs have been known to leap from branches and fly up to 15 metres in search of prey, or to escape predators.
Unfortunately, as you can probably tell, the frog pictured here is planted firmly on the ground.
